Privacy Policy

The short version

Pisano Designer LLC operates pisanodesigner.com and provides AI and automation consulting. Two things shape everything below.

Most systems built for clients run on infrastructure the client owns, which means your customers' data never passes through my systems at all. And where I do hold your material, I delete my copy rather than keep it.

Nothing here is sold, nothing is used to train any AI model, and nothing is pooled between clients. This site has no comments, no user accounts, and no public registration, so there is very little for it to collect in the first place.

Phone communications and AI processing

AI voice assistant. Inbound calls to Pisano Designer, including the ClearLine demonstration line, are answered by an AI voice assistant. The assistant is not a human, and this is disclosed at the start of every call.

Call recording. Calls may be recorded in order to capture your message and follow up accurately. You are notified of this at the start of every call. Continuing the call after that disclosure constitutes consent to the recording.

What is collected during a call. Your name, phone number, the reason for your call, your preferred callback time, and any additional context you choose to share.

How it is processed. Call data is processed by Retell AI, Inc., our AI voice processing service provider, under a signed Data Processing Agreement. Retell AI processes this data solely to deliver the call service on our behalf. Structured call data is stored within our secure internal workflow systems, accessible only to Pisano Designer. Call recordings are archived to Google Drive under Pisano Designer's sole control.

Retention. Call recordings and transcripts are retained by Retell AI for 7 days following the call. Structured call data retained by Pisano Designer is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the call, or as required by applicable law.

Your rights. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information collected during a call under the California Consumer Privacy Act. To submit a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

This is separate from ClearLine built for a client. The section above covers calls made to Pisano Designer's own numbers, where Pisano Designer holds the data. When ClearLine is built for a client, the telephony and AI accounts are registered in that client's name and their callers' data sits in their infrastructure, not mine. See the client section below.

Information collected through this website

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics through the Site Kit plugin to see which pages people read and how they arrived. It collects usage data including pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Analytics cookies are set only if you consent through the banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the consent controls on this site.

Cookie consent. Your consent preferences are managed by Complianz and stored in your browser so the banner does not reappear on every visit.

Forms. If you submit a form, what you enter is collected so I can respond. Submissions are stored in a private Google Drive that only I can access. They are not sent to a marketing platform and not added to any list.

Booking. Discovery calls are scheduled through Lunacal, which collects your name, contact information, and the details of the event you schedule. Lunacal retains booking data for as long as the event exists, and processes access or deletion requests within 30 days. You can request deletion of your booking data directly from Lunacal at [email protected], or ask me and I will submit it on your behalf.

Embedded content. Some pages embed video from YouTube. YouTube may set cookies and collect data about your interaction with that video under Google's own privacy policy. Embedded content behaves as though you had visited that site directly.

Server logs and caching. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. WP-Optimize caches pages to improve load times.

What this site does not have. Comments are disabled. Public registration is closed. There are no visitor accounts and no user profiles. If you have read a privacy policy on another small business site describing comment forms and Gravatar hashes, that was boilerplate. This one is not.

Information collected when you become a client

Discovery calls. Notes about your business and what you are trying to solve, taken during an introductory conversation.

Proposals, agreements, and billing. Proposals and engagement letters are prepared and signed through Anchor, which also handles invoicing. This involves your name, business name, contact details, and billing information. Payment details are entered into Anchor's systems and processed by its payment infrastructure. Card numbers are never stored by Pisano Designer.

AI Operations Assessment. Producing the assessment means reviewing how your processes work today, which typically involves interviews, documentation you provide, and information about the tools your business uses. That may include information about your employees and operations.

ClearLine. The receptionist runs on accounts registered in your name: your telephony provider, your AI voice platform, your hosting. Call recordings and transcripts belong to you and are stored in your infrastructure, not mine. I reach them only through credentials you grant, and only for work you have engaged me to do. If you add the monthly management retainer, that includes reviewing a sample of transcripts to find misrouted calls. Those recordings are treated as your confidential business information and are never disclosed, resold, or used to train any model.

ExoLoop. Building your AI context asset requires source material from you, including writing samples and a recorded interview of roughly an hour.

What is never done with your information

• →It is not used for advertising and not shared with advertising networks.

Service providers

These third parties process information in the course of running this business. Each has its own privacy policy.

For client engagements, the AI and telephony platforms your systems run on are your own accounts under your own agreements. Those vendors are your service providers, not mine.

How long information is kept

The general rule: working materials are retained while there is an active business relationship, and deleted when that relationship ends. ExoLoop is the exception, because those materials are deleted at handoff regardless.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, correction of anything inaccurate, or deletion of your information, except where it has to be kept for tax, legal, or security reasons. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through the consent controls on this site.

Email [email protected] and I will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and exercising any of these rights will not affect the service you receive.

If you are in the UK or EU, additional rights may apply under GDPR, including data portability and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, including access control, encryption in transit, and limiting who can reach what. Systems built for clients are deliberately designed so sensitive data stays in infrastructure the client controls, which reduces exposure by reducing how much sits with a third party at all.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise should not be believed.

Children

This site and these services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. Information is not knowingly collected from children.

Changes to this policy

Material changes are reflected in the last updated date at the top. Where a change materially affects how client information is handled, existing clients are notified directly rather than expected to notice a website edit.
